Armed Forces of Ukraine Are Advancing in the South and Advanced in the East

The Ukrainian military continue their offensive in the Zaporozhye region and have a partial success. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are counterattacking the invaders in the Luhansk region.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Kovalyov on the air of the telethon.

“The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. Namely, in the directions: Novodanilovka-Robotino, Malaya Tokmachka-Verbove, Volnoe Pole-Makarovka. They had partial success, they are gaining a foothold on the achieved lines,” the speaker said.

He added that the enemy is concentrating the main efforts on defense and is trying to prevent the advance of our troops. The invaders are using reserves, trying to restore the lost position.

Also, our soldiers continue to hold back the offensive of Russian troops in the Liman and Bakhmut directions. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have partial success in the Luhansk region.

“Especially heavy fighting continues in the Limansky direction in the areas of Yampolevka and Serebryansky forestry of the Donetsk region. On the Belogorovka-Shipilovka direction, offensive operations were carried out, they were partially successful, and they are gaining a foothold on the achieved lines,” Kovalev said.

The offensive of the Ukrainian troops

Recall that in early June, the Ukrainian military stepped up offensive operations in the Zaporozhye region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to liberate eight settlements in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions. In addition, our defenders have success on the flanks in the Bakhmut direction.

However, in recent days, the Russian invaders have stepped up in the Liman-Kupyansk direction. Ukrainian defenders hold back enemy assaults.
