Algiers, SANA- Speaker of the Algerian People’s National Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali, hailed the level of distinguished historical relations between Algeria and Syria, underlining the necessity of exerting more efforts to promote their level.
During his meeting on Sunday with Syrian Ambassador to Algeria, Maher Baddour, Boughali called for bolstering bilateral parliamentary and economic cooperation between both countries.
“Algeria is committed to Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Speaker added.
In turn, Ambassador Baddour hailed the level of bilateral relations between the two peoples.
He also praised Algeria’s stances under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune in supporting Syria’s stability and territorial integrity, stressing that Algeria is known for solidity of its stances.
